Reiki Aftercare Guide

Nurture your energy with compassion and kindness

Your Reiki session opens a process of release, realignment, and renewal. The real work continues gently in the hours and days that follow.

🌿 Rest & Integration

  • Rest as much as possible. Your body and energy field are recalibrating.

  • Remember: The session itself is just the opening—the releasing and receiving continue afterward.

  • You may feel tired, emotional, light, or deeply peaceful.

  • Some people experience vivid dreams or even a brief low mood. This is energy moving up and out, not something “sticking.” It usually passes within 24 hours.

💧 Supporting the Release

Allow your body and emotions to guide you. You might:

  • Cry, laugh, journal, stretch, or dance.

  • Take a salt bath or shower to cleanse your energy.

  • Hydrate and eat nourishing foods.

  • Spend quiet time in nature or with animals.

  • Tune in to what your body and heart need, with gentleness.

🪶 Journal Prompts (for 1–5 days after your session)

Reflect to deepen your healing:

  1. How am I feeling—physically, emotionally, spiritually?

  2. What shifts do I notice in my mind, body, or spirit?

  3. What emotions or insights are surfacing?

  4. How does my energy feel in relation to the intention I set for this session?

  5. What do I most need right now to feel supported?

☀️ A Final Note

Be kind to yourself. Healing isn’t always linear—it unfolds in perfect timing.
Trust your body, your energy, and the wisdom that led you to this work.
